Any volunteer that will be in the presence of students on campus, unsupervised by a district employee, or chaperoning a field trip must be fingerprinted. The fee charged by the Department of Justice for fingerprinting is $32.00, which must be paid at the time of fingerprinting in addition to the rolling fee of the operator.
This form can be obtained from the District Office.
*Reimbursement for the live scan fees are reviewed after 100 hours of volunteering with the district. These hours can accumulate throughout the school years. The hours will be logged on the sign in sheet with the schools, but please maintain a copy for your own personal records. Proof of hours completed documentation will be the volunteer's responsibility for the reimbursement application.
Attend Volunteer Orientation
All MVPs must attend a new volunteer orientation prior to beginning their volunteer experience. This will be scheduled through the District Office and review items such as safety on campus, discipline procedures, COVID testing policies or related information, confidentiality agreement, and other items pertaining to the responsibility of our volunteers on school campuses.
