PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

All playground equipment on the school grounds will be inspected for safe condition at least once each school month on a regular schedule. In addition, the equipment is to be inspected the week before school opens in the fall and the first week of school following winter and spring vacations. The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor is charged with the responsibility for developing directions for the department equipment checks.

A record of each inspection and of any corrective actions taken shall be kept on file in the District Office, and a copy provided to the school site.
